In 2011, Chongqing took the lead in opening the China-Europe
railway express from Alataw Xinjiang to Duisburg Germany. After
eight years of operation, CEIBS (Chongqing) has run more than 4,000
trains in total, becoming the earliest of operation, the largest in
number andcargo value, the widest in coverage and the strongest in
industry drive. The transported goods are also from single variety
to complete category, from "empty return" to "full return", from
"local" to "global".
“Yuxin-Europe” Chongqing international railway transport channel,
runs past Chongqing, Xi 'an, Lanzhou, Urumqi, crosses Alashankou
into Kazakhstan, then through Russia, Belarus, Poland, reaching
Duisburg, Germany. Along the 11,179 km railroad of six countries,
customs department coordinate cordially to safeguard the smooth
operation of transport.
The name "Yu-xin-ou" comes from the railway and customs departments
of six countries along the route, namely China, Russia, Kazakhstan,
Belarus, Poland and Germany. "Yu" means Chongqing, "Xin" means
Xinjiang, and "Ou" means Europe, collectively known as "Yuxinou".
The goods from Chongqing will be transported through the Yuxinou
railway line, with mutual recognition of customs clearance,
supervision and information sharing along the route. One time
declaration, inspection and release is required for the entire
transportation.
